I have to confess that I was really scared of visiting Luesai. Godzilla was telling me how scary the place is, how old the house they have in Luesai. "no toillet in Luesai" "you will encounter bear" Obviously Godzilla is enjoying teasing me, who is typical Tokyo girl.
But actually. Luesai is indeed a beautiful country side even sheeps and cows are ringing bell whole night. Not only toilette but also bathtub is equipped in the house. Even a sauna!!
On the next day after wedding, Ursula organized big brunch at the terrace, where Godzilla arranged new picnic bench.
The view was unbelievably beautiful.
It's a real Heidi land.
Most of the wedding guests have gathered and continued sharing happy atmosphere from the wedding.
Compared to the wedding date, everybody were more relaxed and was a good opportunity to chat each others.
Ursula is a proud business woman but she is also professional in organizing cozy party.
After another big brunch, some people went for a small hiking. I felt a little bit guilty from having huge meal whole weekend but without having this reason, I was wililng to go for a walk. Too beautiful scenery to deny.
A friend of my husband was crazy about remote radio plane. He was constantly playing (controling?) it.
Once it hit me. I think he done it on purpose. Anyway, it's a great place to enjoy such a toy. There's more than a plenty space here.
First half was a nice walk. But at the end, I had to go through this real hiking road.
But I managed. It seems to be no problem for others but I almost short of breath:)
I heard there's another hiking course at the other side and this one is 10 times difficult than the once I experienced. Oh no.
But anyway, I enjoyed this breathtaking scenery and atmosphere.
I was very satisfied.
It was nice close of the big weekend.

Ceremony in Luesai
I woke up with my head full of ring bell. It was the first night I slept in Luesai but I was frightened by unknown "Ring Bell" entire of the night. I was questioning myself "who the hell ringing the bell in the middle of night!". Well, how can I imagine, it was sheeps who made me suffer until morning..
Anyway, it's a big day for Ariuscha and Lukas, I've done my best to wipe out my "unsleep bunny's eyes" and dressed up, being excited what kind of dress will Arisucha wear today. Cow house was 1 st stage of the party and here comes 2nd stage!
It was very pretty country side church. Looks like standing at this small village many centuries. More and more wedding guests came. Some arrived only today, rushed their car all the way to the mountain to celebrate wedding couple.
And then we went inside. So interesting how the seat plan is organized. Parents of wedding couple is in front row, that is normal. But the seats for brothers and sisters and best man, woman are assigned on the stage, behind the wedding couple.
The man with orange flower was in charge of the whole precedure in the church. Who is he? Not priest. He is a brother of Bride's father:)
Since the family is non-religions at all, they decided to do the ceremony without priest. But still at the church. This idea really impressed my swiss colleague. She also doesn't like huge story from priest but still would like to have a ceremony in church, just becauce it's nice. As a non-religious Japanese, I strongly agree. You take what you feel nice and enjoy it. Japanese celebrate Christmas, but visit shrine on New Year. Exactly like it.
The show up of bride was indeed surprising. First, I doubted my eyes. Because I saw flushing red instead of white.
Ariuscha showed up with a red dress designed like a mixture of Chinese and Western. On her hand, she has a white umbrellad made by fresh flowers. She had a fur jacket just like her mother's. She looked like a Mary Poppins just came out from a fairy tale.
Organ was played by a best friend of bride's mother. Chelo was played by a girlfriend of best man.
There was a speech from best woman and best man.
There's no best woman and man culture in Japan. But here in Europe, best woman and man are indeed "key person" and big supporters for wedding couple. They even sign a official marriage document as a witness. How nice it is! Friends are normally know everything about you, not only how good person you are but also embarassing past. She (he) was always there even on the night you fighted with your boyfriend (girlfriend) and listened to you until morning. Imagine, how nice it would be when such a best friend takes important role in your life. I wish I could have done same.
Thinking of the friendship of Ariuscha and her best woman, I was about to tear even I didn't understand everything she said.
Ariuscha and Lukas utter a vow each others and the ceremony completed with a wedding kiss. I also think this "vow" style is beautiful. You think about the most special word for this moment in life to your most special partner! Not just being leaded by priest.
After the ceremony, there was a coffee break at the cafe nearby. It was another very at home, friendly cafe.
I think that the wedding couple considered "friends and families relations" as the most important. There were no professionals whole day, everything has done by one of the guests. That added comfortable friendly atmosphere even durning the ceremony which is normally more formal.
The party continues to the third stage crossing even a border of Italy.

Beginning of the wedding program
The family of my husband is unique in many respects. This weekend, it was a wedding party of my sister-in-law. No question that I was really expecting for many surprises. Well, actually, SURPRISE was beyond my expectation!!
The schedule was informed to the guests in advance and it was already a very exciting program. First of all, the location of the venue is in Luesai which is a very small mountain village which even not familiar to Swiss people. Plus, celemony starts only on Saturday, pre-party was arranged at the place from Friday evening. So, it was indeed a full program!
As we arrived, we curiously look for the venue. We walked by the cow's house which is smells even from outside. Then we saw two ladies waiving to us, saying "common in, here's it". Whhhhaaaat?? But that's COW HOUSE!!
We went in. Hot wine was served to me, being fully suspicious. Then I saw. About 80 people are sitting on the wooden picnic bench, which is standing there in row. Everybody seems to giving a speech one by one. I was fully surprised how nicely the cow house is decorated. Big screen was arranged on the front and back of the room, showing continuously photos and films.
All of sudden, my uncle pointed torward us which dragged the attention of all. First I didn't understand but,, it seems that I have to introduce myself,,, in front of 80 people in German. OH NO.
So the night went on. I soon forgot the smell of cows. There was a music performance by guests as well which was very nice.
Farmer soup, cheese and salami plate are served. Dessert was a big buffet and was all handmade. Of course, it's a caw house and not a real restaurant. But what has been served is "warm heart" of people.
Pre-wedding was already very surprising. The surprise continues until the very end. We had to take "Torches" (like firework but you hold it all the way as a light) and walked all the way down to the village.
Without having Touches, we really cannot manage this. It is indeed a real "mountain" where you could find no light during the night.
Everybody totally enjoying this casual but fun arrangement made by bride and groom.
Like this, full program started. Up to this point, I still didn't know that there's more to come on the next day...
